City of Angels

City of Angels

On any given night in America, half a million people are homeless. A quarter of them are in California. A startling 55,000 in Los Angeles alone. In this special Dateline NBC hour, we take a look at the homeless crisis in L.A., explore how we got here and shine a light on some of the heroes taking strides to fix this intractable problem.

As a producer, I co-developed the outline for the hour, filmed elements for the story, coordinated several key bookings, field produced shoots, co-wrote the script, edited the rough cut and managed the final edit.
